From I-20 West:
  • Exit I-20 at the first Thomson exit, turn right on Highway 78, turn left at second traffic light by Farmer's Furniture. Go to traffic light at the Winn Dixie and take a left. Proceed on highway 78 about 5-6 miles and watch for a carved sign with McDuffie County Public Fishing Area. Bear off to the right onto Ellington Airline Road (Caution: Do Not take a hard right onto Wire Road) and travel to the stop sign. Take a right onto Luckey's Bridge Road (Caution: Not Iron Hill Road which is a few feet before Luckey's Bridge Road). Go about 1 mile, look for sign to CANR, enter the gate and drive straight ahead between the greenhouses to small green building on the right. You are there.

From I-20 East:
  • Take the Appling-Harlem Exit, turn left going back over I-20. Stay on this road until you come to the traffic light in Harlem, take a right onto Highway 78. Proceed on Highway 78 to Dearing, turn left at the Dearing Diner (also look for the McCorkle Nursery sign). Go about 3 miles, look for sign to CANR, enter the gate and drive straight ahead between the greenhouses to small green building on the right. You are there.

From US 1:
  • Go to Wrens, turn off Highway 1 onto Highway 221 at the Western Motel, go about 7.5 miles and take a left onto Luckey's Bridge Road (the first hardtop road past the 221 Corral, which is just across the McDuffie County line). The sign is marked by a small McCorkle Nursery sign and a large wooden carved sign for the McDuffie County Public Fishing Area. Once on Luckey's Bridge Road, go about 3.5 miles to McCorkle's main office. Continue past the first nursery building to the main area where you will see the CANR sign. Turn left and enter the gate and drive straight ahead between the greenhouses to small green building on the right. You are there.
